About
Indiecyndy
Indiecyndy
lives in alternative-rock, but commutes to pop, with a decidedly unique
style reminiscent of 80's new wave with 90's grunge thrown in.
Indiecyndy blends sexy vocals with accomplished guitars and rock-steady
drums to produce commercially vibrant songs with a wide-audience appeal.
Singer/songwriter,
Cyndy Viveiros, has been writing songs for over fifteen years and
recording and working with musicians for the past ten years. It morphed out
of her poetry - a lifelong hobby.
Cyndy released the single “Make Trade Fair” in 2002 which was heard world wide
as it promoted Oxfam International's global advocacy campaign for fair trade.
These days Cyndy is working on her first music video: a tribute to Oscar
the nursing home cat who predicts death and who comforted Cyndy when her
mother was dying in November, 2007. You can read Cyndy's story in
David Dosa's best-selling book, Making Rounds With Oscar.
Come back to this website next month to view footage of Oscar tastefully
interwoven with an Indiecyndy tune named "In The End."
